Happy National French Fry Day!!!
Today started off with an amazing inspirational video all about exceeding limits. After the video, the girls went outside to play "Guess Who?" They were each given index cards with the name of famous women and girls, both real and fictional.
Once they all figured out who they were, the girls were rounded up into a circular shape. Elena went all around the circle, naming each girls to settle a bet with Analyssa. She was victorious, and was presented with a King Size KitKat.
When all the girls were settled, they started again on AppInventor. The girls finished up the programming for their MoleMash games and were handed out tablets to test the apps on. They got familiar with the AI Companion app before adding on to the MoleMash app. After a bit of experimenting, the girls were told to start thinking about what kind of app they would want to make. They were given templates to try and figure out what they want their app to look like and what they want it to do.
The girls handed in their app ideas so they wouldn't be lost or misplaced before moving on to EV3 Lego Robotics. They moved to sit with their partners and got their kits. Marissa put up a link for the girls to use to build a Lego Car. If some of them finished their cars early, they got to personalize them.
When everyone finished building their cars, Marissa reviewed with the girls. After they finished reviewing, they worked on the programming. The girls seemed to be having lots of fun!!

After our amazing lunch of Barbecue, potato salad and Mac n' Cheese, the girls started to work on their independent projects. We have a lot of creative ideas, from cool SNAP games to EV3 animals and some Arduino projects to!
After that, we went to the atrium to play Guess Who? in which they were given cards with the names of real and fictional famous women. They then had to guess who they were by using yes or no questions. When they came back, the girls started Blender off with a cute video and then continued working on their Snake games.
