Day 2

Shuri Tuesday

Have you met the newest Disney Princess?
If you haven't, you're in luck!
We will be watching her movie at our Wednesday evening activity night.
So who is Shuri, and why should we care?

Shuri is the princess of Wakanda (a fictional African Kingdom). In addition to being a princess, Shuri is the director of Technology. Not only is she the director but she is the technical genius; even rivaling the ability of Tony Stark (IronMan).

As young women in computing, you must realize that the stereotypical technologist is a man. This trend is slowly shifting, and characters like Shuri are proof that even Disney and the Marvel Universe knows that women rule at technology too!

Just by participating in this camp, you are changing the face of computer science, and creating an environment in which young women really can become anything they want to be!
