Happy Tuesday, Campers!

Ready for Hunger Games?!
Today started off with some clouds and a light sprinkle of rain. Not wanting the girls to get damp, we led them into the atrium where they did their morning activity. We gave each girl a card with a name of someone famous or recognizable and told them to hold it to their foreheads without looking. They then had to go around asking yes or no questions to the other girls to find out who they were. The first five girls to figure it out received candy.
Once we finished the activity, the girls came back inside and were told to partner up with someone who wasn't their Lego robotics partner. They girls went into their Drives and found the group assignment. Each pair was assigned a vocabulary word to create a poster on. They had to use their own definition and draw or write examples for it. The girls were given 20 minutes to finish the posters before presenting them.
After that, the girls worked on their EV3 robots. They began working on their own robots. After perusing the website, the girls chose the builds that they wanted to do. Some of the projects on the website were unavailable, as we didn't have enough or the right parts for it.
