Huzzah! Let the High School camps begin!

Welcome to the first day of YWiC's high school summer camp! We are so excited to have you here! We can't wait to explore the exciting world of Computer Science with you - there's so much to learn, do, and experiment with!

We started this morning with a small ice-breaker activity. Everyone drew a random animal, was blindfolded, and had to find their four-legged counterpart by only making the noise of their animal!

The morning and afternoon progressed quickly. Everyone learned about core CS concepts, Google Drive and Blogger, HTML, and LiveCode. Our afternoon was punctuated by a short name-learning activity led by SP.

Lastly, the day finished with a quick End-of-Day survey and the girls completing their first blog post! The prompt?

• "Tell us about one person you met today that you didn't know before camp. Describe their favorite color, food, and one hobby they enjoy.
