- Sign into your Google Account
- Click on the 9 squares in the upper right-hand side
- Click on Blogger (Orange B)
- Create a new blog
- Choose a name that you can remember.
- Keep it simple and not too long
- No names! Nothing too personal.
- Each day, write an entry answering the questions given, reflecting on what you learned, or explaining how awesome camp is!
- Make it your own with fun additions
- Styles
- Text
- Images
- Formatting
- Don't forget to take pictures/screenshots of your projects (Ask a leader for help)
- In the share box put ywic.nmsu@gmail.com
- Click DONE
Your portfolio will be an exhibit of your achievements in computer science throughout camp.
A portfolio is a purposeful collection of selective and significant examples of your work accompanied by personal summaries of your effort, progress, and achievement.
Your opinions and thoughts are VALUABLE, IMPORTANT, and WONDERFUL!!
Collect your thoughts and experiences from this camp into an organized portfolio for you to reflect upon as you move through this great CS adventure!
Include information about your project/s, builds, fun times, challenges, new experiences, hardships, and special memories!
How to Start and Maintain Your Portfolio
1. Click on the blue document icon.
2. Open up a new Google Document by clicking on the 9 squares in the upper right-hand side of your screen.
3. Click on the + sign to start a new blank document.
4. Name your document "Portfolio of Your Name".
5. Click on the share button in the upper right-hand corner of your document.
6. Each day, copy and paste your blog posts into the document. Add your screenshots to this document as well.
