The amoebas are off to TCBY!

FROZEN YOGURT!!!!!!!!!!

We started off the day with our 'catching' amoeba game.  We had one girl as the amoeba and she had to link up with other runners.  Soon almost everyone was hand-in-hand (literally) in working together to get the other runners.

We came back from the activity and loaded up on some snacks.  It was an open lab, where the girls were free to work on either of their projects (EV3 robotics or AppInventor).  The EV3 projects are coming along...awesomely.  There are a lot of Apps also being created that are...fantabulous.  Everyone was focused on their goals of completing their mind-boggling projects. (:

After lunch, we went on our field trip!!!  We went to TCBY to get some frozen yogurt and sweets. (:  We stayed to cool down for a while, then we went off towards Barnes and Nobles.  The escalators were fun (as usual) and some of the girls went to go get Starbucks. ^.^

Blog Prompt: What woman, dead or alive, has inspired you? 

Ana- My mom is my main inspiration. She has been though many hardships yet has come out stronger because of it. From facing racism and sexism in the 60s and 70s, to dealing with the death of very close family members, my mother is the strongest woman I know. I draw from her strength and hope that I can become half the woman she is. My mom isn't afraid to fight for what is right or make a stand. If you know my mom, you know well enough to never mess with her.

Elena- I have some incredibly strong women in my life who inspire me including my mom, aunts, cousins, and friends. One famous woman I admire is Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. In addition to being a First Lady in the 1960's she was a strong support of the arts, a classic fashion icon, and a devoted mother. She is also known for being a symbol of grace, dignity, and strength as the nation grieved the loss of her husband, President Kennedy. 

Hiba- So children...listen up. The women that have inspired me are of course my mother (Rajaa), my sister (Noor), and my grandmothers Fatima and Mary. They are most strong, smart, amazing, beautiful, and overall just the best women my life. 
I know that Diana, Princess of Wales has inspired me at one point in my life. That is all for now children see you tomorrow.XD :)
