Happy Hump Day!
Today's theme was Pajama Day, so many of the girls were dressed in their comfy clothes. There were a few onsies, including an awesome Batman one. For the morning activity, the girls were divided into three teams and lined up. All of the members of the team, save the last one in the line, were blindfolded. They were told to put their hands on the shoulders of the girl in front of them. The object of the game was for each team to try to get foam computers that were strewn across the field using nonverbal techniques. The last person was the only one who could see the field, so they were to direct the others and get the first person to pick up the little computers. The team with the most computers won.
After the activity, the girls came inside and started on LilyPad. This morning's lesson was on sounds and programming the speaker. The girls were released to work on their LilyPad projects. They worked really hard today and some of them finished their paintings! After about an hour, they switched gears to Javascript. Samira taught them how to add Javascript code to their websites to make their websites interesting and cool. The girls learned how to add functions and buttons and other cool things. Their websites are gonna look so awesome!
After working on their websites for a while, it was time for lunch! We feasted on some amazing chicken wings from Roadrunner Pizza. Thankfully, there were many different kinds, as well as pizza for the vegetarians and gluten free people.
Right after lunch, the girls were ushered into 118, or the ice box, with a few getting lost along the way. The girls learned Linux while freezing. It was definitely a good day for pajamas!
<----As Promised, I have added this to the blog.

Tomorrow is Sports Day! Make sure to wear your favorite jersey or team shirt!
Blog Prompt: If you could have any animal, real of fictional, as your pet/sidekick, what would it be?
Ana: I would love to have white tiger as my sidekick, because I am, as you all know, Batman. I need an animal to keep me company and alert me if there are any signs of danger that I cannot see. Plus, I could cuddle with it! Assuming it is domesticated, of course.
I was one to get lost!!! ._.
