Picocricket Robotics- Crazy Bots!

Yay it's Monday! Today we are working with PicoCrickets to create awesome bots that we can program! We made a magic lights sensor, which reads the light in the room to give us different values in our display board. We made a catapult that could shoot things just with a few lines of code! And last but not least we made an awesome birthday cake, when you blow on the light, it goes out, and it also plays the happy birthday song! It's clear that robotics are awesome, but programming is what makes it all work!

The projects that we did today:
Magic Lights Project
Catapult Project
Birthday Cake Project

Our Project theme today is CARNIVAL!!! The campers brainstormed some awesome ideas and we can't wait to see what they come up with.

Project Requirements:
*At least 1 input
*At least 2 outputs

At the end of each day of camp, we encourage our students to fill out a small survey so that we can better craft an amazing camp experience. The survey for today can be found here: June 10: End-of-Day Survey

Blog Prompt:
What did you do this weekend? How did you feel about PicoCrickets? What did you make?
